2014年1月9日，三菱材料株式会社四日市工厂发生爆炸。这起事故造成5人死亡和12人受伤。三菱材料株式会社（MMC）是一个长期和赢创合作的很好贸易伙伴。这起事故我们深感悲痛。为遇难者家属的悲痛，并祝愿伤者早日康复。三菱材料株式会社（MMC）主要向赢创提供四氯化硅原料生产AEROSIL®气相法二氧化硅。
In this unfortunate incident, it is still our task to report that there is no injury to employees or damage to Nippon Aerosil Company's plant. Consequently, from today’s perspective we do not foresee supply problems with AEROSIL® grades. In case the material loop with MMC stops, our site can continue to operate.
